What happened to the rest of the restoration?

Hi Rick, great blog. Keep up the great work, I am learning a lot from your posts.

One question for you: Do you have any sources you recommend reading for someone following in your footsteps? I just purchased a 65 convertible that needs a partial rebuild and would love to see a blog post dedicated to the reading materials you have found useful and those to avoid. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Seth from Mill Valley California

Sorry for the delay in the updates. The shop has been busy and money has been running low.
Seth, for a restoration to original, I recommend the Mustang Restoration Handbook by Don Taylor and Tom Wilson, since mine is a restro-mod, I am going with many modifications and fabrications to make it how I want. It takes more time and money, but it just depends on how you want the end result to be. You are welcome to check out the progress if you ever make it in to Michigan. I have been lucky that my father in law has owned and restored many of his own Shelby Mustangs, and now does it for a living.
