- This is a site dedicated to the restoration of a 1965 Mustang Fastback that I bought in November of 2005. The restoration has been delayed by my free time (or lack of) and the advanced state of decay the car was in - which I wish I had realized before I bought it. Comments are always welcome!

Are planning to do the basecoat/final painting with the removable body parts in place or paint separately and re-install after the painting?

Just taking advice from father-in-law who owns the shop where the car is. I am not sure yet, but I trust he will help me out. He has been doing this for many years, and is a perfectionist. I am sure I will post pics when the time comes.
